We Are Covenant Coatings 323

Hi guys! I am John Bress, and I am the owner of Covenant Coatings 323. My father is a painter and my grandfather was a paint chemist, so you could say this is in my DNA! Most people don't plan on owning a painting company, and I didn't either. The truth is, I became addicted to drugs at a very young age, dropped out of school, and began working as a painter under my dad's company. I painted on and off for years, but addiction became so severe that I could not work anymore. I went to several institutions seeking help, but nothing seemed to work for me. In 2018, I went to a faith-based center in Dallas, TX, and I have been clean since then—praise God. When God changed my life and I went back to work,  I only knew one trade: painting. Over the years, I have worked for some amazing companies and have learned a lot. I have also observed many sad and frustrating things, such as contractors charging unfair prices or just doing things the wrong way, subcontracting to crews they do not know or just met that day, painters showing up late or not showing up at all, little or no communication with clients during projects, and unfortunately, a lot more. After working in painting for most of my life and in the addiction ministry for a while, I decided it was time to get Covenant Coatings 323 going!​

I live in Denton County TX with my lovely wife Jessica and our two beautiful daughters Addison 16, and Paisley 15 months. We are both in recovery and share awesome stories of redemption. Without my amazing wife and family Covenant Coatings 323 would not exist. We look forward to serving you and your family.
